Pop.
That is how Quinn felt as she kept her hands carefully placed over her expanding stomach. Like a balloon, Quinn felt as though she could pop at any given moment. With a hood draped over her face, Quinn made her way through the crowded town. This was once the place she thought would be damned, then thought to call home and now...Now she didn’t know what to think. Months had passed and even with this bloating belly, Quinn found herself searching harder than ever to find something...someone. Reading the various signs on the doors, Quinn squinted her eyes tiredly as she felt the energy slowly seep from her body. Right when she was about to retire her search for the night she spotted what she had been looking for. Stopping in front of the last wooden building on the street, Quinn let out a gentle sigh. Keeping one hand on her stomach, she found her way up towards the black painted door. In all other circumstances, Quinn would hesitate walking into such situations but with her future and her child's future at stake...she could strike a deal with even the devil himself. Slowly raising her free hand, Quinn knocked on the door six times. Dropped her hand back down, her ring seemed to glimmer against the sun's setting rays. There had been battles, wars even. Quinn had her freedom taken from her and redeemed on more than one occasion but never had she been more confident about her choices. Pressing her lips tightly together, Quinn knocked once more against the rattling door. Right when Quinn had gotten Rion back...he had been ripped away, taken by a series of rather unspeakable events.
At first, Quinn felt sadness...a sinking feeling of hopelessness...yet something had changed that. Looking down towards her stomach, Quinn couldn’t help but smile softly. The little girl growing within her wouldn’t allow her to feel such fear, to suffer such sadness. In a way, the two counteracted each others negative feelings...brought forth a feeling of hope. Quinn was no mother bear, no. Quinn was a lioness. She would hunt, she would care and she would destroy anyone who got in her way. Placing her hand on the rusted knob, Quinn grew impatient and now pushed her way inside the wooden cabin, allowing the door to slam shut behind her.
Darkness. Darkness for as far as the eye could see. This was where Quinn was told she would be able to force each other sins to gather...This is where Quinn would find her way back to the world and family she had fought so hard to regain. Pulling a blade from her boot, Quinn sliced her ringed finger just enough to draw blood. Carefully, Quinn stumbled to the wall across the room and drew a calling symbol upon it. Without further hesitation, Quinn cut the blade across her palm and pressed her hand into the calling symbol. “Septem demones inferni.” The words escaped her lips in a whisper. Now she waited for what Demons of Sin might hear her calling.
