Soaran sat in his shop, Wyatt was out front, taking payment for the newly received order. Soaran allowed his eyes to light up to a pale blue color and he let the energy flow out of his hands, tiny spiders crawled out from his his sleeves, webs spinning together, catching hold of each other, creating a silk like cloth. Soaran took the cloth, the spiders now hanging from the ceiling above him, and he began cutting it into long, strips, and then dying them all different colors and placing the dyes in such a way to give them a multitude of designs and patterns. Ties, bow ties, and and pocket handkerchiefs. That was the order. For the dye to properly set, it would take a few hours, but he had pride in his work. He would take his time, make sure they were the perfect length, the perfect texture even. Taking in every piece of the material that now was soaking in the dye, Soaran stood from his dye station and went over to get back to work on a personal project. The spiders clung to his hands once again, but this time, the webs shot out at Soaran’s will. Being that Celeste was the only female in their little group, he felt the need to pamper her, especially knowing that in her land, she was royalty. So, we began crafting the perfect, long, silky white princess dress. What she would ever need a dress of this type for, he was unsure, but every girl needed a dress that fit them perfectly.
His mind wandered, and in came his gryphowl, Athena. In her normal state, an small cat with wings and owl like eyes and the ability to turn her head in all directions, she sat on her perch beside him until he heard her voice echoing into her mind, “A war is coming. We must prepare.” Her voice was soft, calming even when speaking of war. Soaran just nodded, and continued his work. The spiders now working on the design of the dress, the color of the silk turning dark, black now, and the once white dress took on a pitch black hue after minutes. Eventually, the silk turned back to a white, and stars, comets, and other celestial markings over took the dress. As a finishing touch, he handcrafted a melt made of metal, leaving rings to hang each of her 13 zodiac keys from. The belt was a burst of gold, giving the plain black and white dress the much needed pop of color. Once he finished, he hung the dress, and eyed it over once, twice, and then walked over, picking Athena up, setting her on his shoulder and she sat there, perfectly still and he walked out to the front of the store, whispered of Athena’s warning into Wyatt’s ear and he left the store, making his way down to the town, searching for the others.
