There was confusion in what to expect. What would Rion think? What would he think...Quinn was hesitant to say much more to him as she awaited from some kind of response. But the response received seemed to startle her at first. When his hands made contact with her, she was nervous at first, but as his lips barely brushed against hers, everything seemed to fall into place. Her body relaxed for that half of a second as the butterflies swarmed in her stomach. The sensation rushing through her felt almost un-natural. Such a thrill crawled over her body as she felt warmth rush to her cheeks. So this was a kiss. Quinn could now understand why humans enjoyed such sensations so much. This feeling of kilig, this feeling of over whelming passion, it was something strong. But like most things that are strong, she knew that these feelings also caused individuals to do terrible things. Such strong feelings, they were dangerous. Things that usually brought an Erinye in to punish individuals. As he pulled away, Quinn paused for a moment, Allowing the moment to settle. Pressing her lips together, Quinn watched as Rion walked over to Matteo. She took this moment to look up and smile softly to herself, it was everything she had ever heard of, and then more.
Quinn could see the slight pain in Rions face as he lifted Matteo up onto his shoulders. But, she remained quiet on the subject seeing as he tried maintain composure. Out of everyone here on the island, Rion, Matteo, and Lucee were the three she had the chance to spend time with. It wasn't intentional, it just seemed to work out that way. The three seemed to open to someone new, at least the children seemed that way. And the dynamic with Rion, well, that was something on an entirely different level. Matteo and Rion seemed fine, a little rattled possibly, but still safe. Despite the events that had unfolded within the last couple minutes, Quinn was still worried now on how Lucee was feeling. This planet was different than Quinn had expected. After all, it didn't seem that innocent and guilty was as simple as the Gods had made it out to sound. Smiling up at Matteo, Quinn spoke in a soft manner. "Seems you may be giving Rion a run for his money." What Matteo had done was impressive, especially the control he had at his age.
Looking down from Matteo back to Rion, Quinn froze for a moment as he spoke. "Helping..Right. That was nothing.." Quinn's voice trailed off as she looked away from Rion slightly. Letting out a soft sigh, she smirked slightly and looked back to the two of them, it was time. "As the Trickster have made a slight ruckus about, they are correct. I am from the realm of Olympus. While I do not believe the Gods know I am here yet, for things would be different then...I was released here from Pandora's Box." Pressing her lips together, Quinn paused for a moment. Reaching her hands behind her back, she pinched the region of her shirt that were now stained with blood. Pinching both sides, she barely ripped two sections in the back of her shirt. Taking a deep breath, Quinn flinched slightly as she felt the wing tear from under her skin. Slowly, two large, black feathered wings ripped from the tears in the back of her shirt. Carefully the wings unfolded, stretching out for several seconds before finally relaxing behind her. Closing her eyes tightly for moment, Quinn allowed the pain to pass before she looked back at Matteo and Rion. "Erinyes. As I am sure you have found out by now." Quinn offered a careful smiled towards the two, as she observed their facial expressions. Quinn folded her wing to rest behind her as a small frown then fell upon her lips. "I was flawed in creation...The three originals..They quickly realized I had adapted to human emotion when I was created..I could see past basic mistakes." Looking out towards the snow, Quinn pressed her lips together once more, taking a moment now to gather her thoughts. "They didn't like that. I was put in Pandora's Box because I was seen as weak for this understanding of emotion, and seeing as they figured the box wouldn't be opened again.." Pausing for a couple seconds, Quinn turned away from the two of them, allowing her eyes to now focus on the ocean that was covering with snow. "I was a failed project, they saw me as a threat to what they stood for."
