Lucee woke from her slumber feeling stiff. She pushed her chest into the air, raising her back off the mattress, listening to each crack from her vertebrae as her spine readjusted itself. She sat up and threw her arms out to the side letting her elbows and shoulders crack as well. It had been a while since she had gotten such a good sleep, considering all that was going on. The room she was in felt stuffy, like someone was pushing down on her chest waiting for her sternum and her ribs to cave in. She had to get out of here, before the darkness could eat at her anymore consuming her for all of eternity.
She changed out her dirty clothes, looking like rags at this point, for a comfortable outfit. Outside it would be chilly, but she wanted to play in the sand anyway. She smiled to herself, she could already taste the salty breeze blowing off the coast to her paled cheeks. Fetching her scarf off of the back door handle she threw it around her neck and skipped down the hall. She managed to pass by Matteo and stopped in her tracks smiling at him, her eyes full of excitement. How long had it been since they had accessed their childlike natures and felt the sand still warmed from the summer, letting it slip through their fingers back to the ground from which it came."Matteo! You're just the person I was looking for." Lucee offered her hand out to him and tilted her head, it was time the two got a breath of fresh air, no obligations or concerns attached, "Do you want to build a sandcastle?"

Matteo had finally woken up, he felt refreshed for the first time in a long time. This had truly been his first real sleep since Rion brought him back from the dead. Sure, they were in Fraul for a bit, but, the air was so thick there that sleeping for him was a task. He threw his feet over the side of the bed and smiled. His feet were dangling and he ran out into the hall and then Lucee went running by and then stopped when he saw him. He smiled at her and nodded, "Does it have to be a sandcastle?" He chuckled, hoping she caught his reference. That was something that even the hunters didn't keep from him, movies. For that, he supposed that he was grateful. Maybe they weren't all bad. Just..mostly. He wasn't sure.
He grabbed her hand and he ran towards the beach and once they got there he pulled his shoes and socks off and dug his toes into the sand, it was chilly out, but he didn't care. He loved the way the sand felt on his toes. Gritty, but, in a way, it was comforting. He smiled and pulled on the zipper of his black zip up hoodie, pulling it up and down almost like he was bored. "We don't have buckets and shovels!"

Lucee smiled softly to Matteo as they made their way to the beach, humming the popular tune to herself before looking over at Matteo mid skip and bursted out singing mid chorus. "It gets a little lonely, all these empty rooms, just watching the hours tick byyyyy," glancing at Matteo she left the line open for him to finish off the clock noises. Although it had been a few years since that movie was appropriate for her own age, Lucee didn't pay any mind. She had the heart of a child, and in the words of her favorite artist, Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.
At last they had made it to the beach, following Matteo in suit, Lucee removed her shoes setting them carefully on one of the stones that lead from the Immortals cave to the shore of the island. The air was crisp, filling her lungs with a salty fresh winter breeze. She closed her eyes and let the wind crash against her cheeks turning them bright pink, blowing her hair back into tangles with each gust as it picked up. Swaying back and forth in the wind she didn't mind the chills it sent down her entire body, for this one moment Lucee felt alive.
Lucee smirked and raised an eyebrow to Matteo's confusion, he was right though, they didn't have any buckets or shovels. Reaching into the inside right pocket hidden in her coat she pulled out a small notebook and a fine tipped sharpie. She took care in drawing each tool on a separate sheet of paper, before giving Matteo a chance to approve of her work. When she got his approval Lucee held her palm over each drawing hyper flexing each finger out as she waved gently over the drawings, bringing each one to life. Handing the blue pale and orange shovel to Matteo, Lucee smiled shrugged as she grabbed the pink and yellow shovel for herself and began to dig a moat around what would eventually be their castle.

Matteo smiled, taking the bucket and shovel from her and went down to the water to get wet sand for a sturdier sandcastle. He made a few trips and began to mix the dry and wet sand, making a perfect combination and started packing his bucket. He smiled and stuck his tongue out slightly in concentration as he focused and then smiled once the bucket was full. He quickly turned it over and beat on the top of it with his hands and slowly slid the bucket up and off of the sand that now formed a nice round tower. He ran his finger through it to make it look like it was made of bricks and he sat up and smiled, perfect.
He looked over at lucee with a wide grin, "Lucee? I know you're in there, people have asking where you've been!" He looked back at his first tower and then tilted his head, it was missing something, but he wasn't sure what. "Seashells!" He yelled out and he picked up his bucket and went seashell hunting.

When walking out from the entrance, Quinn let out s soft sigh, releasing the breath she had taken back into the air. Being in buildings too long made Quinn feel almost as though she was caged. Quinn figure this was a long term side effect from being trapped so long in Pandora's Box. Carelessly Quinn slipped her feet from the pair of shoes she had acquired. She didn't care much for these devices of feet torture, but they seemed to be a popular thing here..so had given them a try anyways. Inspecting the change of terrain that trailed after the entrance, Quinn hesitated at first before stepping on the sand. The wind brushed against her body, sending chills down her body...The feeling..it was sensational. The goosebumps that covered her skin, the shiver her body produced...All of it was without a doubt something Quinn had read about in a book. The weather was shifting on them, it was called a cold front? Or maybe even snow? Smiling softly Quinn took a few slow steps before picking up the pace. It didn't take long for Quinn to take off running through the sand. It was an odd sensation as her feet seemed to slip as she attempted stopping. Slipping in the sand, Quinn caught herself with her hands. It had taken her by surprise, but all she could do was laugh. This is what it meant to be alive, this was what is meant to truly live.
Pressing her hands to the sand, Quinn used her arms to help push herself back up. Glancing down, Quinn watched her toes curl into the sand for several seconds. She couldn't determine if this was a sensation that she enjoyed. Looking on, Quinn noticed that Matteo and Lucee were both out on the beach as well. Yet, Quinn couldn't entirely figure out exactly what they were doing. Taking in a deep breath, Quinn held onto the brisk air for several seconds before finally releasing it. Beginning to walk across the sand, she approached the two. Kneeling down slightly in the sand she watched as they decorated the bodies of sand. Molding, Tracing, Decorating. It all seemed to be equally important in this activity. Scooting a little closer to the two, Quinn attempted engaging in conversation with them over their creations. "What are these called?"
Quinn couldn't have been more elated. She knew she probably looked and sounded like a child, but that didn't make her any less curious on what they were designing. Each creation looking just as unique as the last. With each piece they could probably make a small building or even an entire civilization. Looking down to brace her face, Quinn let the cold air rush against her body once more. Were the sand castles strong enough to withstand mother nature? Gazing towards Lucee, Quinn pondered as she watched the sand castle in the works. "May I join?"

Rion followed Quinn outside and saw her going over to the kids and he smiled and shook his head. She seemed so innocent and child-like sometimes. Why had she not known what..well, anything really, was. He raised and eye brow and chuckled. He looked around the beach, expecting to find Reast being that Lucee was out here, pretty much alone. He was wondering where she would be. Last time he saw her, she was getting a room ready to lock Lucee in once the change actually happened. He let out a long puff, his cheeks getting big and then shrinking once he let the air out. "Matteo, help her little man. Keep her innocent and pure."
He watched the, now three, "children" playing in the sand and seemed to be singing disney songs. He sat down on a large rock overlooking the beach, sitting indian style, he closed his eyes, just listening to everything around him. He was tired, physically more so than emotionally. His body had just underwent a full on war internally and he had just gotten up like nothing had happened. Now, he would try to take this time to rest a bit. He trusted that Quinn could handle any immediate danger that had occurred and if not, he was one shadow step away from being there to help. He wouldn't fully sleep, he would keep his senses on alert, but he was shutting off the constant form of being alert. He needed a small break. It was all that he could ask for right now. Things were going to get dark for the Immortals. He knew that, and so did Reast. She was doing what she needed to to prepare for it, but, he was too. He may have gone through a lot to get his new powers, but, he got his powers. Some new, some old. But for some reason, in the back of his mind, all he kept hearing was a whisper. "Black Diamonds." He heard it over and over again, and with his eyes closed, he just kept seeing the battle between Hollow and...what seemed to be himself.

Lucee and Matteo's giggles filled the air around them, echoing off of the caves somewhat close by and resonating off of the sand below their small bodies. This was the most fun she had experienced in ages, it almost made her feel lightheaded from all the laughing in such thin air. From the looks of it, they would have to switch to snowmen and snowball fights if the weather continued. For now Lucee nodded giving Matteo a grin as he offered to go look for seashells, and focused on using a small twig she had found to carve intricate little doors and windows onto their growing castle.
She was so focused she hardly noticed Quinn sitting beside her observing her every move. Almost jumping out of her body, Lucee looked to Quinn, startled yet relieved all at once realizing the woman's sincere curiosity. Something about Quinn made Lucee trust her. Despite her previous false judgement, Lucee could feel some balance returning to her senses giving her back her natural ability to trust that Quinn had pure intentions. Without saying another word, Lucee reached into her pocket to retrieve the notepad once more to draw Quinn a purple pale and white shovel. Just as gently as before, Lucee waved her hand over the drawing to bring the objects to life. Lucee grabbed her own pale and shovel and demonstrated to Quinn the best way to make the sand stick together, "Well, we're building a sandcastle. The trick is to mix in some wet sand from the moat to the loose sand. It helps the sand stay together so we can stack them on top of one another. Once Matteo gets back we can add the shells all over the castle, it'll look just like a real one." Giving Quinn and reassuring grin, Lucee handed Quinn a spare twig she had set aside. She didn't question Quinn's lack of understanding once, simply happy to have an extra friend to work on their masterpiece.
Humming to herself at first, Lucee started to sing, "I have often dreamed, of a far off place, where a great, warm, welcome will be waiting for me..." Stopping mid song, Lucee glanced over to Quinn, she didn't want her to feel left out so she gave Quinn a warm smile before asking, "Do you have a favorite Disney song?"

Matteo came running back with a bunch of sea shells, all different kinds, colors, and shapes. His bucket was full of them and he smiled, dumping them out in the moat. "This should be enough!" He plopped down onto the sand and looked over at Quinn with a smile, "Did you talk to Rion! He smiles when you're around.. I've never seen him smile before you!" he smiled at Lucee and started packing his bucket full of sand again and went back to building a giant castle. He leaned back and eyed his work and then tilted his head to either side, making sure everything was perfectly even. He smiled, confirming that it was and then ever so gently, he pressed his hand to the front of it and a star indent seemed to sink into the sand castle and it started to glow a bright white color. It was like a light through the darkness. He finished carving out the bricks and stairs with the edge of a seashell and then nodded, "Perfect.." He turned to Lucee and smiled, "I think you and quinn should put all the seashells on. I don't want to break it!" He smiled and eyes the now massive sand castle.

Quinn had been listening closely to Lucee's directions when she heard Matteo's voice. As she looked over to Matteo, she also carefully took the shovel and bucket from Lucee. "Yes, we did get the chance to speak for a little bit." Quinn smiled softly, trying to recall the nice conversations they had rather than the dark situation that she had watched Rion go through. The mere thought seemed distant now, yet seeing someone in such pain..It was still replaying over and over in her mind. It was refreshing to know that Rion found peace while being around her, for, she felt the same about him. Looking back to the bucket, Quinn sat up and walked towards the water. She waited patiently for the waves to motion backwards before scooping up some cold, clumpy sand. Walking back to Lucee and Matteo, Quinn toes curled with every step, almost as though her feet were fighting against the natural friction sand had. It was becoming colder, yet the sand still was a refreshing sensation. Sitting back down, Quinn poured the wet sand from her bucket and used her shovel to mix the wet and dry sand together. It was like mixing a potion! At least, that was what Quinn would guess. Such a beautiful place where imagination could take root in almost any situation. After mixing the sand, Quinn used her shovel to begin scooping sand into her bucket, pausing on occasion to pack it down. After completely filling the bucket, Quinn placed her shovel to the side, and used her fingers to pat the sand down once more. Letting her finger linger over the top to even out and smooth any uneven areas. Cupping her hands on both sides of the bucket, Quinn took a deep breath before quickly flipping the bucket over and pressing it into the sand. Patting the top carefully for a couple seconds, she then brought her hands back to the sides of the bucket to remove it from the sand. It was a small little sand tower, but that's all Quinn needed. Smiling softly, she brought her hands to the sand and laid on her stomach. Picking up a twig, Quinn began carefully tracing different patterns in the small sand building. It could be lighthouse! Simple, to the point, yet needed.
Sitting up, Quinn looked towards Lucee and tipped her head slightly. "I don't think I have ever seen Disney." Though it seemed to sound familiar, Quinn knew for a fact she hadn't really ever watched a movie. She merely knew random information basically placed in her mind from when she was created. Experience, now that was a whole different story. Quinn smiled brightly as she listened to Lucee's voice chime in the air around them. The wind carrying her notes in the air like magic. "What movie is that song from?" Quinn sat on her knee's now, carefully placing her hands in her lap. She continued listening to Lucee for several more seconds before looking back at Matteo, who had seemed to hit the jackpot. Moving closer to him, she picked up a shell and carefully began placing them on the outskirts of the brilliant castle he had created. She was being certain not to put to much pressure as she placed them, in fear of it falling apart. After several minutes of carefully placing shells, Quinn stood up and brushed the sand from her leg.
And like that...she noticed something different. A cold speck fell upon her shoulder, instantly melting. Looking into the sky, Quinn watched amazed as tiny little frozen droplet began carefully floating down from the sky. They were so pure, and each just as unique and perfect in their own way. Reaching her hand out, Quinn hardly could believe t at first as a small snowflakes fell upon her finger tips. She barely had time to notice the snowflake before it melted...but that didn't matter. Smiling widely Quinn moved away from the sandcastles to be careful not to destroy. Reaching both of her hands out, she laughed softly as she continued to watch the sky. "Snow" She whispered softly to herself at first. The excitement was beginning to overwhelm her. "Snow!!" Quinn laughed softly as she directed Matteo and Lucee to the white crystals. Spinning in the sand for a moment, Quinn kept her eyes focused on the sky. Would it be enough to build a snow man?? Maybe have a snow ball fight?? She had heard that when it snow a lot people enjoyed making hot chocolate and warm meals. Was this true? The smiled remained brightly on Quinn's face as the snow began coming down in a faster pace. This was Earth. "Beautiful" Quinn spoke softly to herself as she relaxed, still looking at the sky. "Just beautiful."

Lucee was happy when Matteo had returned, his choice of shells had her amazed as she picked up each one, looking into their unique coloring and shapes. She a particularly purple colored shell and held it in her palm as she ran the tips of her fingers over the grooves in the shell. Such a tiny object with such intricate details, Lucee marveled at the shell before carefully pressing it into the side of their castle. Slightly shocked that Quinn had never seen a classic Disney movie, Lucee paused and looked over to her, "Well that song is from Hercules, it's about a baby god who gets stolen by Hades and he has to become a true hero to rejoin his dad Zeus. It's one of my favorites, but then again... there's also Beauty and The Beast... and then Cinderella... and and...." Lucee's words began to trail off slowly, she blushed realizing that she was rambling, then turned to face both Matteo and Quinn, "We should have a movie night! Maybe we can convince Rion or Re to help us set it up, and we can make hot cocoa and snuggle up by the fireplace while we show Quinn the best Disney movies." Sitting up straight, Lucee was quite proud of her idea. Now that she was sitting up, she sat back to take in their handy work and was quite impressed with their efforts in such a short amount of time. She nodded in approval to both Matteo and Quinn, when she realized something had fallen on her nose. Making her go crosseyed Lucee looked at the tip of her nose and realized it was snowing. Odd... Fall has only just begun...
Lucee began to ponder the oddity in the weather, she could feel an unsettling imbalance all around her. The snowflakes fell against her cheeks then quickly evaporated just as quickly as they had landed there. But as the air grew thin, the snow began to fall more rapidly, slowly taking hold on the ground. It left beautiful patches of fluffy snow scattered out along the beach, somewhat resembling waves that had washed up on the shore. Only a few minutes had passed before the snow began to overtake the beach. Standing slowly, Lucee rose to her feet to look around at the strange flurry, when she noticed Reast and Rion had joined them. Things happened quickly as Rion seemed to appear next to her holding Quinn as he shouted at Reast. He looked angry... something was wrong... Lucee stepped back and looked in Reast's direction. There seemed to be dried blood on her arms and neck. Freezing in place everything around Lucee seemed to slow. How dare Rion hurt my Reast....
Glaring at Rion, Lucee didn't think before she acted, but her heart beat pounded against her chest and the deep blue color of her eyes began to dim to a bluish gray color. Holding her hands out in front of her Lucee's nostrils flared as she pulled from the light all around them. Flecks of light from the sand were the first to go, slowly creating a strange white and grayscale amongst the snow mixed with the sand. She then began to draw the light from their bodies, starting with their toes creeping their way up to tops of their heads, focusing particularly on Rion himself as he appeared slightly darker than those around them. She could feel the light pulsing through the veins in her arms making their way up shoulders and neck, such a large amount of energy all gathered inside her fragile body. Finally Lucee drew from the light in the air, creating a pristine picture of black and white all around them. Beads of sweat gathered then dripped down her forehead, almost bringing herself to a pant as she tried to contain the energy inside of her body. Her veins began to bulge from her neck and forehead ready to burst through her skin at any moment. But Lucee waited, staring at Rion, waiting for the moment so she could contain as much light as she could, before she could push it all towards her palms. And at the right moment, Lucee gathered the energy and began to drown Rion in the light, as if depriving him of oxygen yet trying to replenish it all at the same time. Something seemed to be overtaking her as she pushed the light back out all to Rion at once, "You will NOT lay a hand on her."
As the last fleck of light left her body, Lucee's vision began to blur and her legs felt weak. Something within her seemed to be fighting her natural state, wanting to rip her apart and take over. She could feel it, the seed of darkness deep inside her chest that Melanee had so carefully planted. It was growing, slowly taking root in her trying to rip its way out to take over her mind. She did what she could to fight it, ultimately winning over the darkness, her eyes turned back to their normal blue before everything seemed to fade and her legs gave out from beneath her.

Luca watched above him as the strangest thing happened to the sky, he watched as the storm clouds gathered in his eyes swarming around the island like a circle. He could see as the snow storm began to cascade down just around the island, all other areas untouched, with the sun still shining down on his cheeks. He had been sailing for almost a week now, a small yacht he had stolen from someone who clearly could afford to purchase a new one, nevertheless he knew the boat wouldn't be missed. He hadn't been with the carnies all that long, but that sort of life just didn't suit him. A woman named Rowan had directed him here, to the Immortals, claiming that it was a safe haven more or less given the times they were in. The island seemed rather insignificant, attempting to hide itself yet the storm most likely drew in the attention of thousands of people as the storm could be seen from hundreds of miles away.
As he got closer to the island, the waves began to pick up crashing up the sides of the small yacht splashing onto the deck. Luca hated the feeling of his shoes overcoming with ice cold water, it sent chills up his spine as he tried his best not to let it bring on another one of those bone spur reactions. He hated what they caused, like his bones were shattering all at once as they ripped through his flesh, the pain was excruciating yet over the years he had the time to slowly adjust to the pain. Clenching his jaw, Luca stood firm to prevent the bones from sprouting a mind of their own. Keeping his eyes on the beach only a few hundred yards away, Luca blinked his eyes a few times to assure he was seeing things properly.
The girl.... she was standing on the beach seemingly draining the light from any light source around the island. Was she like him... he had searched for years, looking for someone, anyone that was like him. She certainly possessed some sort of light powers, he could sense the energy flow the girl was possessing, slowly drawing in light to her body... He knew it wouldn't be long before she would become overpowered. As the boat inched closer to the island he realized something about her drew him to her, he knew she wouldn't be able to hold up much longer so he jumped out and began to run towards her. Realizing what the girl was doing as the light began to flood back onto the beach, Luca reached his arms out just in time to catch her before she fell to the ground. He lowered her slowly and rested her head on his knees as he sunk to the ground with her. He shook his head and smiled warmly at her, "Well that was an interesting trick you pulled there, you could have killed yourself."

Watching the snow fall the from the sky, Quinn knew that only one things was missing for this moment to be perfect...Well, more so one person. Looking over her shoulder towards the Cave where the Immortals entrance was located, Quinn watched as two figures made their way from the opening. Quinn was excited to see Rion coming out into the snow, he was exactly who she been waiting for, but the moment was ephemeral. All the excitement and happiness was short lived as things seemed to grow dangerous. Watching Rion approach her, Quin tipped her head slightly, looking up at him for several seconds as he wrapped his arm carefully around her. This wasn't entirely a sign of affection...something was wrong. Looking over towards the other figure that had been approaching, Quinn watched, still uncertain what the woman had planned. Reast. Reast was her name. And she too had guilt buried in her. Though, each persons guilt was different based on why they did what they did...It was still guilt.
Quinn kept herself pressed close to Rion, resting her arm against his back and her hand balling up into a fist. The snow continued to fall despite the sudden change in the atmosphere. The snow flurries continued to rein down around them, beginning to gather on their hair and articles of clothing. The temperature was dropping, which meant the snow was now beginning to stick. The once beach paradise was transforming into a winter wonderland before their very eyes. Reast, the woman Rion had been threatening came to a halt, but that didn't seem to be the immediate danger anymore.. Why had Reast come to a halt? The air thickened around Quinn as she let out a soft cough. Bad vibes...a toxic vibe. Quickly looking around, Quinn tried to located where this vibe was coming from..What could be causing such a surge of energy. It was then, Quinn realized it was from the young girl. Lucee. It seemed untoward for Lucee to be gathering such energy, but it wasn't the energy that bothered Quinn. It was Lucee's intentions with the energy. Locking her eyes on the young girl, Quinn tried to play out the situation in her mind. Lucee was light...And Rion had just been able to lock away the darkness inside himself...Would this light trigger the darkness once more? Would this light make the hallow inside Rion weak? Weak enough to not be able to fight off the darkness? The questions swirled in Quinns mind like a tornado. The possibilities were endless, and like that Quinn slipped away from Rion, bringing herself to stand in front of him at the last possible second.
Bringing her hands to her side, Quinn centered herself as the light came at her. Seconds passed like minutes as she waiting for the beaming light to hit her body. Closing her eyes for a moment, she released the air from her lungs. Right when the beams hit against her body, Quinn opened her eyes. When her eyes opened, they were no longer the typical hazel, but now shifted to a dark green. The rays of light seemed to bounce off her skin, barely even impacting her. Only thing that seemed to truly impact her where the small traces of light that her body absorbed. Erinyes were natural shields. Seeing as their body maintained it's own homeostasis when it came to balancing dark and light, this wouldn't impact her as much as it would for someone who contained primarily darkness. She could reflect most of it, and anything that slipped through the crack would just weaken her till her body could balance out once more. The biggest issue Quinn could sense was maintaining her human image... She could feel as she reflected the light that her wings were cracking the skin on her back, attempting to break though. She had to focus harder. Closing her eyes tightly, Quinn flinched as the pain began to set in. Small traces of blood dripping form the back of her shirt. After several seconds of steady focus, the wings relaxed beneath her skin once more, and the beam of light seemed to come to a halt.
Even after the beam of light had stopped, Quinn remained the same spot. The snow that had fallen upon her before had now melted, completely soaking her clothing and hair. Her core temperature was beginning to return to normal as she seemed to stumble slightly. Quinn would be fine, no physical damage besides the tear on her back from her wings. Watching the young girl fall to the ground, Quinn was ready to help her up, but even then she didn't feel she had the energy to move. At least not yet. An odd man came up and helped Lucee, he seemed innocent enough, though Quinn hardly cared who was at this point. Watching everything in slight confusion, she quickly turned back to Rion. Hurrying back to his side, Quinn hide her face in his shirt as her body began twitching ever so slightly. She was at a lorn on what to say. A loss for words in the situation. Burying her cold face into his shirt, Quinn mumbled soft enough where only he could hear her. "I just didn't want to see you hurting again.."

Matteo smiled, as they finished their sand castle, and then something happened, snow...He had only seen snow one other time before. He was three years old and he and his mom were on the farm. He remembered his mother holding his hand and smiling. It was the first time he had seen her truly smile. She never smiled since his father was sent to the military. He came back here and there, but, something was always...off with that. He never understood it until he was older. The tours he was on became longer and longer and eventually, he only saw his father once a year. His birthday. Matteo shook his head, leaving his thoughts as Rion and Reast came down from the cave entrance. Reast seemed to be almost skipping with glee and then Matteo's smile left his face. Rion was yelling...why was he yelling?
He tilted his head, he was confused, he was...scared. Rion was angry, and then he ran ahead of Re and he stood in front of Quinn, and then the air seemed to thicken. He was having a hard time breathing. What was happening? He looked around and Lucee looked different. She looked...mean. and it looked like all of the colors of the world were gone within seconds. Matteo's eyes widened. Her hands were raised towards Rion and Matteo flinched, "Lucee! Stop it! Right..." but he wasn't fast enough, she released a burst of light towards Rion, but then Quinn jumped in front of the light, reflecting it outwards. Matteo tilted his head and frowned, stars started to form in his hands, burning hot, he frowned and started walking towards Lucee. He was angry. Lucee had tried to hurt the person that he cared most about. Stars began to circle Matteo, then they changed into what looked like miniature planets. He tilted his head and furrowed his brow as he watched a new man approaching Lucee. He didn't care who he was. He had just lost his respect for Lucee. She had turned on the Immortals. She had committed Treason. "You attacked Rion..." Stars began to fly out of his palms and towards Lucee's still body on the ground once she fell. Matteo was seething with anger. He looked at the man and he seemed to...growl almost. "You...are...a...TRAITOR!" He began yelling, crying, and the miniature planets started orbiting around this new man and Lucee, blinking in and out waiting to explode.

Darkness surrounded Reast as she tried shielding herself from some of the unbearable light. Lucee was already changing...she was twisting...But why? Looking down at herself, Reast noticed she still had some dried blood splattered upon herself. Frowning slightly Re sighed and shook her head. "Shit." Looking back towards where the light was beaming, Reast was ready to step in and prevent Rion from being hit, but it seemed someone else stepped in. Someone she hadn't expected. A small smirk fell upon her face as she watched Quinn, the Red Head, step in front of Rion. The beams didn't seem to impact the woman like it would tose of darker elements, which meant Reast had her answer. Once the beams calmed down, Reast dropped the darkness from around her and began walking over towards Lucee and the man. Things seemed quiet for several seconds...But only several seconds. Looking back quickly Re narrowed her eyes towards the young boy, Matteo. Everyone losing heir forsaken mind.
Disappearing into the shadows, Reast reappeared in front of Lucee and the strange man. Her eyes turning black now, and the scars completely covering her body. Raising her palms to face outwards, darkness seemed to crawl from every scar on her body to her palms. A small but powerful dark orb seemed to generate around Reast, Lucee and the stranger. Narrowing her eyes, she watched as the planet and stars started forming by Matteos will. Strong child he was, but she wouldn't let Lucee turn now...This kind of fight would certainly set something over the end. Closing her palms, the orb seemed to pulse. Growing smaller and electrical waves covering the surface. Seconds before the planets would make impact on the orb, Reast quickly closed her palms into fist, causing the orb to completely disappear, along with anyone inside it. She was taking Lucee inside to explain, and then she would take the time to interrogate this man. The talk with Rion would have to wait. Before disappearing, Reast nodded slightly to Matteo. She didn't disapprove of what he was trying to do, for he was completely justified in his actions. Reast just couldn't lose Lucee, for in some sense, losing Lucee meant losing herself.

Rion turned just as the light was about to hit him, Lucee, the last person he would have expected. He looked at Quinn and saw wings protruding from her back and he smiled faintly. She turned back towards him once the light had faded and he smiled, pulled her face to his and kissed her. Finally. It was better than he could have imagined. He smiled and pulled away, and his eyes returned from black to grey and teal. "You didn't have to do that. It would have hurt, but I would have survived." Before he knew it, Matteo was yelling. That kid never yelled. He saw the stars growing, turning to planets and his eyes widened, "Matteo, enough. There is no need. I'll explain what just happened. But you need to.." Then Reast made her move. He knew she wouldn't hurt matteo, and knew that she would approve of what he was doing. He nodded, and smiled at Quinn once more before moving away from her.
He made his way over to Matteo and put his hand on the boy's shoulder, "Settle down, Little Man. I'm here, I'm fine. We're all fine. But, It looked like you perfected your celestial blast." He smirked and picked Matteo up and put him on his shoulders, flinching as he felt a tear in one of his wounds. He hid the flinch from Matteo and walked back towards Quinn, "Thank you...again. But now, You know what I am, let's hear about what you are."
