With the hunters working at all hours, it left most of the Super Natural world in terror. Numbers were falling in races world wide, and here seemed to be no exceptions to who the hunters would eliminate. This no longer was a hunt, but the hunters had moved on to the second portion of their mission...Erebus and Nyx kept tucked away behind some bushes as they watched the hunters before them. Erebus shifted slightly to sit upon his knee's, he had the perfect view of them as long as they weren't detected. "Extermination...They are on the next phase." Erebus whispered towards his sister as continued to observe the hunters surrounding a rumored safe house. South America, typically a safe haven for Super Naturals, but since the Hunters went on full alert, it had become the ultimate hunting grounds. The Super Naturals didn't stand a chance against the hunters tactics, especially since when it started, most of them didn't even know they were now animals being hunted. Erebus ducked down slightly and looked towards Nyx, signalling her that it was time. Nyx nodded slightly in agreement with her brother before crawling towards the tree's, there she stood up slowly and took shelter hiding within the trees. Nyx allowed the shadows to consume her body as she seemed to disappear. They weren't support to interfere with death, that was, once it happened. But..they felt there were some loop holes in preventing it. There had to be a way to fight back from such elimination...The balance was off, and while you'd think having the advantage of being Super Natural would help you win against humans...It would seem most of the super naturals had no intention of harming anyone. Most individuals that Erebus and Nyx had encountered wouldn't even fight back for they felt it was an unfair fight...They were truly the heroes.
Keeping low to the ground, Erebus maneuvered his way around the bushes. Quickly finding ground behind a tree, he barely peeked his head around the corner to take in the various locations of the hunters. They hadn't invaded the safe house yet, which meant they still had time to save the life's of the forty individuals inside. Ducking low, Erebus used the natural shadows of the trees to keep his cover. He would have to get close enough to take out the hunters guarding the doors...After that..They would get the people out while fighting off the hunters that would chase them. They would lead the refugees to the forest, where Nyx would protect their journey by fighting off any hunters that followed them. They were looking at maybe..twenty hunters? Which meant this task could go either way. Taking a deep breath, Erebus counted down to himself, before taking off in a dash towards the two hunters. Reaching back to grab his scythe upon his back, Erebus raised the scythe up and swung it down into the first hunters back. The screams echoed in the air, as she man trembled to the ground. Stepping onto the mans back for leverage, Erebus pulled his scythe back from the mans back. "Shit" Erebus whispered to himself as the other hunter instantly began shooting at him. Erebus tucked and rolled out of the bullets, just dodging the bullets long enough till he could recalculate. He should have been sneakier. "Fucking overly confident." Erebus scolded himself as he gripped the handle of his scythe tightly once more. Standing up, Erebus spun the scythe in a fast enough motion to reflect any bullets that the man was shooting towards him. The once concerned look on Erebus face now shifted to a smile as he spoke carefully to himself. "Five, Four, Three, Two...One." The clicking sound echoed in the air, as the hunter then realized he was out of bullets. Dropping down to his knee's Erebus swung the scythe at the mans feet, completely amputating both of his leg and making the man fall back. Not even giving him a chance to scream, Erebus knocked the handle of his scythe into the mans face. It wouldn't be what killed him, that would merely knock him out...Now the blood loss on the other hand... Leaning down next to the man, Erebus patted his head like a dog before smirking faintly. "Someone wasn't counting their bullets."
Focusing his eyes on the road, Erebus noticed men beginning to run out of the trucks they once inhabited. It was time. Standing up quickly Erebus dahsed towards the door. At first he fidgeted with large locked wooden door, but he figured the individuals inhabiting this place wouldn't care if he knocked down the door anyways at this point. Backing up slightly, Erebus took a few seconds before running full force towards the door, using the speed and the weight of his own body to bring the sturdy wooden door down. Pressing his hands against the various shards of wood, Erebus ignored the pain and pushed himself up. The room was crowded with individuals of all looks of life..Men, Woman, Children...Babies...There wasn't time. Pushing past the crowd, Erebus went to the back door that led straight to the forest, opening the door he directed everyone it was time to go. He didn't have time to explain...Not if he would save them all. Dashing past them once more he knocked over a large decorative collectible cabinet in front of what used to be the wooden door. It would at least block the entrance for a little bit. The hunters were running at the house now...Erebus looked towards the group and spoke calmly..This would be the last calm moment of the night. "Run."
And in that moment, everything went from collected to absolute chaos. The gun shot began running in the air. The loud chaotic shuffles of feet began dispersing from the house into the woods. Now the read fight was on. Following after the crowd, Erebus would defend as he could and Nyx would step in. Walking from the shadows she once hid within, Nyx withdrew one of her daggers. Weapons were limitless when it came to blade for her...They were certainly her weapon of choice...Now all she could do was be precise. Taking a deep breath, Nyx then turned her head slightly to the side, to watch the group of people running for their life. Blinking slightly as she released the air from her lungs, Nyx flipped the dagger several times between her fingers. They would protect them...They would do whatever it took to start changing this mass genocide.
