Clarissa couldn't contain her smile as Ian led her away from the group Rowan had found herself in. He was right, though. Row seemed to be finding herself and place on the island elsewhere, and with someone else. Claire was happy for her, though. Rowan had been a bit lost when they'd found each other - they both had. But she'd found Ian, and now the two of them were going to be together, for a long time. Looking down at the ring resting upon her left hand, Claire admired the piece of jewelry, making herself a promise. She looked to Ian then, gripping his hand tightly as they walked through a street lined with houses and apartments.
They all looked to be new or rebuilt, many still needing tenants. Perhaps she and Ian could find themselves in a place like this, settled down, maybe a child, or even two. Claire knew she wanted kids, some day. Some day very far in the future, when the world was settled and supernaturals like her and Ian were more welcome. She would never want a child of hers to face the same threats that she had, and her parents abandon their way of life and practice of abilities. Admiring the architecture of the shorter-towering apartments, Claire slightly tilted her head as she spotted a three-story town home, with a balcony on the top floor.

It was an instant decision as she turned her head back to Ian, giving him a serious look. "I want that one." It was a simple, modest-looking town home, and she knew the two of them wouldn't need much. Maybe they would take a look around first, see the lay out, stuff like that. But Claire knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Ian, somewhere in a place like that. Sure, they were both young, and had a life to live before settling down for good, but this was a good start.
