The coldness that drown Reast body was temporary. A feeling she wasn’t particularly familiar with, but a sensation that she welcomed no differently. There was a brief moment where even Reast mind went black, and this was the moment she needed to focus the most. Pulling back the darkness that served her every demand, Reast used every inch of energy to withdraw three souls from the final resting place, and managed to pull them to another world. It was a middle world that Reast knew very well. The tree’s that surrounded them only made the nightfall of the new land all the more eerie. The night air was thick enough that you felt you could reach. This was Purgatory.
The sensation of pins and needles started in her toes, slowly traveling like a serpent up her back. Once reaching the peak of her back, sensation of feeling began traveling at a more rapid pace. The sensations first returned in her fingertips, then slowly worked it’s way down her arms. The sadistic humor in the situation was Reast realized that this is what Frankenstein must have felt like when he first was brought into this world. As she barely trembled her hand, she managed to grab a handful of dirt. As her body began waking up, Reast began commanding her body more and more into motion. Grabbing hold of the Earth beneath her, Reast pulled herself up to first a sitting position. There she sat for several seconds as she regained capability, and began running operations checks through the various systems her body was composed of. Minutes passed before Reast finally decided to pull herself to her feet and stretch out for several seconds. While the timing of the others was still unknown, Reast knew she had at least a couple more minutes to regain her focus. And once those couple minutes of peace were up, who truly knew what was to come from the distressed little monster and her Shakespeare reciting Romeo.
Raising her arms up to the dark sky above, Reast embraced the cold touch that purgatory left on her body. The air was damp, and far more humid than she had recalled, but then again, it had been a while since she had been here. It wasn’t as thrilling as the kiss of death, but it would just have to do. Part of Reast wondered what the thoughts of the one’s they left behind would be. Would they simply move on a happy tidings? Or was this the very thing the Immortals needed in order to official disperse for a little while. The thoughts swirled Re’s subconscious as she brought her arms back down to rest at her sides. As the energy levels of the two loves birds began awakening, Reast slowly turned around, bringing herself to st upon a nearby log.The final step in Lucee’s challenges would now begin. Until she could control herself, no one would leave Purgatory.
