As Quinn landed on the Immortals Island, she seemed so rushed that she stumbled into the sand. Throwing the side she had grasped in her hand upon landing, Quinn quickly tossed it aside. It was a nice sensation to be feeling, but for now, she was in a rush. Making her way down the various halls, Quinn managed to find her way back to one of her favorite rooms. Barely brushing her fingers over the engravings within the walls, Quinn let out a soft, but happy sigh as she observed the beautifully stacked books on the walls. There were all still there, exactly how she remembered them. Taking several more steps, Quinn allowed her fingers tips to trace the outlines on the wall until finally she had entered the primary entrance of the library. Her hands carefully swung to her side before resting there. Despite the incredible adventures, and book this room held...It was also one of the first rooms Quinn truly encountered the odd, yet fascinating Rion. The moment Rion and Quinn met was Kairos: The perfect, and crucial moment. There couldn't have been a better moment for the two to see each other pre war. But now that the first wave of the war was coming to an end...What were they? In a library, there are endless stores on romance, and lovers but this only discouraged true feelings of attractions. Because while there were all these beautifully written and created stories, they were just that: stories. And that was one thing Quinn was sick of, being a story.
Wandering up to the book lined up in front of her, Quinn knew it was now time to focus. It was time to be brood, because in the end...all of them had a battle to fight on their own. The once clear air around Earth was thickening as the guilty were growing in number and the innocent were perishing. Sin was like a drug, but it was becoming like second hand within seconds. Running her finger tips over the various titles listed on the spines of the books, Quinn mumbled each of the familiar titles to herself. First it was titles of abilities, then races, travels....None of them were what she was looking for. Letting out a soft sigh, she made her way to the other wall. Starting over in her look, she knelt down, deciding to start on the bottom shelf this time. Pausing, Quinn lingered her fingers over a small black that had a title written in latin. The Latin loosely translated into "Sin" Quinn repeated the word carefully to herself before barely pulling the book from the shelf. Resting it against her arm, Quinn then stood up straight and made her way over to one of the vacant tables.

Sitting down, Quinn took her time reading the Latin, and then rereading it in order to be able to decode the text in a language easier understood by everyone. English was an ugly language, but seemed to be the preferred language overall, so that's what she translated it into. The book seemed to be written in riddles, a way to make one wonder if when talking of sin, if it was a theoretic individual, or if it was an actual person. Embody the purist form of the designated sin...Influential body of Sin... As she continued reading, Quinn couldn't help but frown. Everything she was trained to hate, and punish..That's what these people were. And was this what Earth was becoming contaminated with? Growing frustrated with every word as it echoed through her mind, Quinn eventually slammed the book shut and threw it aside. Closing her eyes tightly, Quinn smashed her hands into the table and listened as the book echoed down the hall. Keeping her eyes shut tight and hands pressed onto the table, Quinn allowed her hands slowly to ball into fists. This couldn't be what was happening...Yet she felt them surrounding them..They were on their way and there was nothing she could do to save her new found family. There was nothing she could to finally figure out what Rion was to her...
Slowly relaxing her hands, Quinn took several breathes and faked a smile upon her lips. A fake smile was the perfect start to at least calming down. Slowly opening her eyes, she shook her head. They wouldn't win, she wouldn't let such fool of hell win. Pushing off the table, Quinn made her way over to the book she had thrown and picked it up. This time, when opening it, she went to a specific page. Not bothering to waste her time with the entire book, she went to the page that specifically laid out each sin. While she usually punished the guilty of sins, she knew there were other ways to deal with sins...Each and every sin, for the most part could be forgiven and in the end purified. But in order for herself not to get consumed by sin, she would have to see the beauty in the world...Not the trouble and pain. Humming to herself, a small smile fell upon her lip. It was funny how one song could change one's entirely mentality. "She's talking to angels, Counting the Stars, Making a wish on a passing car. Dancing with strangers, Falling apart. Waiting for superman to pick her up in his arms.." Allowing her voice to fade off, Quinn carefully closed the book. "Waiting on Superman..." To beat the sins, they wouldn't be able to use brute force, to beat the sins...They would have to reflect inwards.
