Running her hand over the imprinted patterns carved into the hallway wall, Quinn couldn't help but take her time. She refused to miss anything. Every little detail mattered. Every sense was active for the first time ever, and everything was still so new. Every sight, scent, noise...Bringing her hand off the wall and rubbing her thumbs slowly over her other fingers, Quinn smiled...And touch. She especially enjoyed the sensation that touch brought. Dropping her hand back down, she made her way over to the furthest wall. Each wall stacked with books of all different varieties. Books, that with mere words could take someone on an adventure anywhere. As she walked by each book, Quinn barely let finger tips brush against each of the books spines. Her eyes scanning the various different titles and scripts as she searched for the right story to pop out at her. Finally, Quinn's seemed to come to a halt, as her finger lingered over several different spines. The choices were difficult...For there was still so much she wanted to know, she wanted to see, and she wanted to feel. Leaning down slightly, Quinn began pulling several books off the shelves and stacking them in her arms. She stacked at least three different books in her arms before staggering over to the closest table. Dropping them down, Quinn smirked as the soft thump the books hitting the table echoed in the air. There were very few times she would allow herself to seem to vulnerable... but this was one of those occasions. These books, they were experiences and sights that others had the delight of doing ad were so kind to share with the world. There books, they were an abditory for Quinn. A grand escape, a place she disappear into.
Leaning against the table she had dropped the books onto, Quinn ran her fingers carefully over the edges of the delicate pages before finally opening the first book. It was a book of travel. Pages filled with cities, information, landmarks and events. Flipping the page, Quinn felt herself melt into each page... Everywhere seemed so unique, and just as different as the previous page! Reaching for another book she had pulled, Quinn quickly opened it. After opening it, she brought her elbows to the table, and rested her chin upon her hand. The pages showed the wonders of elementalist and how their abilities were purely based off what mother nature could already do. The power behind a tornado. The team work behind a hurricane..The beauty behind lightning. Quinn smiled softly to herself...She wanted to see it all, she had to see it all. But more than anything else... There was one thing mother nature did that interested her the most, she want to see snow. Snow on a brumous day. Where the sun, no matter how it tried, wouldn't be able to destroy the unique creation that fell from the sky.
Bringing her hand to the outside here the cover was, Quinn carefully closed the book before letting out a soft sigh. There was something that was so easy to misunderstand about this world and all the beauty's found within it. Everyone seemed to hold some form of misunderstanding. It wasn't that they were bad, or guilty, but it was just..they were born with different opportunities than another person. They all had different stories, and different background that played a role in their outcome. Sitting up slightly, Quinn looked down at the books she had stacked up before looking back at the book shelves that were stacked high behind her. She wondered... Pushing off the table softly with her hands, Quinn made her back over to the book shelf, moving quickly this time as her eyes scanned for a specific book. He was still on her mind. It has seemed Rion had put Quinn behind a Wonderwall. She couldn't stop thinking of him, and though he completely fascinated her..she couldn't figure out why. Running her finger over each title, Quinn read them softly to herself until finally she stopped. Using one finger, Quinn carefully pulled a book from it's designated space. Not bothering to go back to the table, Quinn kept her back to the door as she slowly opened the book. In silver cursive font, the small, black book read: "Elements Darkness". Quinn wasn't certain if this would be any help in figuring Rion out...But seeing as it was located in the Race section, it had to be a start. As Quinn's eyes scanned the pages, she allowed her body to relax slightly. She held the book in one hand while her spare hand came up, her finger just barely curling so her thumb to could brush back over her finger tips once more. She was determined to figure this out...She was determined to figure him out. Mumbling softly to herself, Quinn flipped the page. "What exactly are you..."
