Everything had happened at such a pace, that all Rowan could do was hold her ground. Julian was brought down, Ape was brought down, but then both were miraculously healed. Looking towards the blonde, Rowan slowly narrowed her eyes. She had never met het before, but the abilities she demonstrated were ones that Rowan was fairly familiar with. Before the young Lucee’s change, she too demonstrated great talents for bending light, and healing.By the time she turned her attention back towards Amara, it was too late. The light from the blonde haired woman began to overwhelm the air, and within split seconds of that, they were gone. Allowing the light to engulf them, Rowan felt the question begin to stack within her mind. The rush of the ocean was the next thing they’d hear. The women's actions were heroic in some twisted sense, but Rowan couldn’t help but feel over stepped. Slowly rolling her fingers into a fist, Rowan pressed her lips tightly together as she tried to take in the situation. The situation was serious, but Rowan knew better than to rush to conclusions. With the witches abilities now tingling at her own fingertips, she knew they had a slight upper hand. Looking over those who had come with, Rowan first went over to help Ape to her feet. To be certain she was balanced, Rowan remained by her side for several seconds before looking over the rest. Claire seemed fine, Brennan was calming down, Ian seemed slightly annoyed but still physically stable. Erebus, the reaper still seemed out of sorts, and for his sister, she seemed more concerned than ever. Ape was weak from Julian attack, but with the help of the blonde haired woman she would return to her baseline shortly. Not only had their tactic of surprise been taken, but also now Nyx had lost the first blade. Turning to the blonde woman, who was now obviously struggling to remain in an upright position, Rowan merely observed. Taking several steps in the sand, Rowan approached the woman. Before speaking a word, Rowan laid a nice uppercut into the woman's face. As she fell to the ground, Rowan then offered her hand to help her back to her feet. As she offered to help the woman up, she finally spoke. “That's what it's like to play two sides. Even after you helped a side, you don't know if you can still actually trust their help.” Pulling her shoulder back, Rowan helped the woman back to her feet.
It was time to assess the damage. Looking towards Claire and Brennan, Rowan offered a soft nod. Claire had taken impact from Amara but luckily it didn't seem to leave much damage. Brennan had seemed off previously, but now with a change of scenery he seemed to be regaining control. Stopping in front of him, Rowan smirked. “So the Scarlett eyes.” A small smirk remained on her face as she contemplated the thougut. After several seconds of silence, she finally spoke once more. “Welcome.” Walking past him, Rowan passed Ape, Erebus and Nyx. All of which seemed to be in rough condition, but a condition to fight still if they had to. Then there was Ian. Typically Ian didn't strike you as confrontational, but something about her cousin had sparked a fire deep within him. “What is it?” Rowan questioned as she continued to observe the uncertainty lingering within Ian eyes. “It's all a game to her, but I do believe you have struck an interest in her...something we could use to our advantage.” Looking back to the others, Rowan took a deep breath. This wasn't a successful, but certainly wasn't a failure either. This, all of this, it was merely the beginning.
“This isn't over, and this no longer is a negotiation. Thus now very well could be the war of realms.” While Amara was intellectual, she still had her minor quirks that allowed her true intentions to slip. Amara wasn't just after the opening of Hell, nor was she merely after the shattering of Heaven. Amara was going to unleash each and every one of the realms.
