There was a part of her that always knew things would end up this way. An unfiltered conflict without hope of a solution. A raging fire threatening places, home lifes. Throwing her open palms out in front of her, energy began tingling at her finger tips. As if the energy was in synch with her bone structure, the energy copied the outline of her bones in her fingers. Glimmering at her finger tips, the beams spiraled down to connect within the center of her palm. As the energy gathered as one, it began curling in a ball-like form. Widening her stance, she glared across the room at Kaleb. The man she would give everything for, the man she loved, and now the man she couldn't stand to look at.

The warmth on her cheek were painted on in the form of a blush. Rowan eyes were carefully closed while her head rested back on Kalebs shoulder. There was a mutual silence between the two, as the moment was captured in their minds. It had been a while since the two could have alone time. A majority of the time, the duo was trying to help maintain things on the island, and try seeking out the scattered pieces of the immortals. While a few immortals still lingered, the future of the immortals was still murkey. Letting out a deep sigh, Rowan allowed reality to return. Blinking her eyes open, Rowan tilted her head to slowly look up towards Kaleb whose eyes were also closed now. With Kaleb wearing a relaxed expression and steady breathing, Rowan couldn't help but smile. At least, that was until the snores began to escape from the back of his throat. Pushing her hand quickly into his shoulder, Rowan nearly knocked him over. "Really?"
Rolling her eyes, Rowan quickly rose to her feet as she attempted not to laugh. Tightening her lips together, Rowan managed to maintain her poker face for the world. But even with her in tune skills, Rowan couldn't hide the new found joy from herself. In a world so cold, Rowan had never known someone to care so much. Kaleb changed all that, the carnival run away, with an absolutely off the wall family had found a way to make the leach belong.
Waiting for Kaleb to ride to his feet, Rowan began gathering a few of her scattered weapons from around his room. "So when do you plan on telling your brothers?" Rowan stated as she grabbed one of her final daggers from Kalebs kitchen counter. The silence cut through the air as Rowan waiting for a response, but there was nothing. Curling her lips into a smirk, Rowan slowly raised her head to now look towards Kaleb. "They'd understand. I mean you're going to be an uncle soon." These all were things that Rowan had exclaimed to Kaleb before, but despite her best efforts, Kaleb wasn't ready.
Grabbing the last of her gear, Rowan reached her hand for the door knob, merely allowing her fingertips to linger against the cold, cheap metal. "Then what is the plan for the Sins? Seeing as the Immortals seem to be more shaken than the Lost Boys of Neverland...we need a backup."
