After falling into darkness, life in some ways continued as usual. The only exception was, for the most part, you were alone. Company was limited in the after life, and being able to perform chaos was almost impossible. Once entering the after life, everyone was the same, there were no abilities, races, unique traits...Nothing. But the one thing the woman needed to keep her from completely losing touch with the world before this one stood by her side, her beloved. They were rowdy in their life before this one, and they were certainly a Bonnie and Clyde duo to be forever remembered. Days blended into one another with little to no changes, and it became instinctive to lose track of time. Why were they here? Sitting, waiting, every single day, knowing that there was nothing more to this world than what they saw before them. The waiting itself was enough to drive anyone mad. Then the world around them began to shake. The once beautiful appearance of the ocean, trees, and houses began to shatter before her very eyes. It was like a mirror, shattering and cracking up towards the skies above. Tiny fragments began to detach themselves and fall to the ground at their feet. Narrowing her eyes, she woman took several steps towards where the image was shattering. Pressing her hand against the mirage like appearance, she allowed a minor amount of force to crush the final pieces of the mirror. With that minor amount of force, the rest of the wall shattered to the ground around them. A small smile slowly crept across her face, this was their chance, the barriers were broken. Looking back towards her beloved, the woman gave a gentle nod before walking through the barrier.
As soon as she was through the shattering glass, the entire world around her changed, and the glass wasn’t visible anymore. Color pigment raced to her skin, and her hair flowed out brilliantly in the wind. The woman awaited there as her entire body became visible to world once again, and as soon as she felt his presence next to hers, the woman finally spoke. “I think it’s time we woke this island up Kyson.” The world around her spun as she took in the details of the island. How happy everyone seemed, and how much progress the island had made. How long had it been? Had the others forgotten them so easily already? Chuckling softly, Addy took several steps before spinning. As she spun the tattered clothing she had been wearing morphed into a short, skin tight, white dress. Heels began wrapping around her once bare feet, and a majority of the scars upon her body began disappearing.
The once lifeless body of Addy now looked as though she had never even been harmed. All that remained was the scar in her chest. A friendly reminder of their dear Lucee. Narrowing her eyes, Addy pressed her lips tightly together as they remained in a careful smile. “Oh Lucee, Dear Lucee.” The child they once all loved who fell into the cradle of darkness. Betraying those she claimed to love, and feeding off their very being instead of fighting her inner demons. The child they had taken to Disney and spoiled, the child who had loved the world...The child who was now a murderer. Walking past several carts set up on the streets of the town, Addy raised one of her palms and instantly they all shattered into the air. Screams of confusion echoed into the air, but Addy didn’t bother to look over. Much rather, she kept her eyes focused on the road ahead of her. Death had treated them well, and while the others wouldn’t expect it, the kiss of the death had made them both stronger, and all the more dangerous.
