Rion looked up through the glass window of their little igloo like room. He had hoped that this would be a start to all of the wonderful places that he would eventually take her. Starting off small would be too unlike him, yet going too over the top would be too much like him. Because of that, he chose Antarctica as their first stop. Above them, the Northern Lights shimmered in all of the greens, blues, pinks and purples, it was truly beautiful, yet incredibly simple. It was something that he never understood, the Northern Lights. They made such magnificent colors, yet he never really knew how.
He sat behind her and wrapped his arms around her gently, "I don't mean to ruin the moment, but I really hope Matteo is okay.  I haven't heard from him and he found a way to keep his location hidden from the shadows." So much happened since the defeat of the Gods. He wasn't even sure what had happened after he attacked. It was all a blur and everything happened so quickly. Now though, he was back to his normal self with his normal powers. While in Olympus, he had gained so much power that he wasn't sure what to do with it all. He had the power of multiple Gods flowing through him all at once and although he no longer felt the bloodlust that he once had, he wished he still had that power within him. He missed the power that was blessed upon him for such a short time. It was almost like a tease, granting him the power to end the world as we knew it in order to take complete control. That power was dangerous and Rion knew that he was not the person for the job of supreme overlord. He was too...unbalanced for that type of job, yet he wished he had submitted a resume for it.
Letting his attention fall back to Quinn, he nuzzled his mouth against her neck and whispered, "You can choose our next trip. Anywhere you want to go, I will take you. The wars and all of the battles are gone and I'm glad. No more bloodshed needs to happen. For now at least." The thought of another war coming to them so soon sounded dreadful. Especially since his last fight was so easily won, he knew that he would be ruthless and stupid in his next fight, thinking that he would be, again, invincible.
Quinn's fiery red hair was caught by the cold winter breeze as it blew into their room. He smiled, feeling the goosebumps rise on her arms. He leaned back and grabbed a quilt wrapping her up in it and holding her just a bit tighter, knowing that the goosebumps would disappear once she was warmed up a bit. He pointed a finger out straight, letting shadows dance across the snow, the black and white swirling against each other under the colors of the magical lights above them. His eyes wandered all around, he wasn't focused and his mind was everywhere.  He wasn't sure what he wanted, or what was going to happen next, but something felt off. He just wasn't sure what it was.
Coming back to reality once again, he stood up and snapped, instantly shadows exploded outwards and flew from the room, allowing a door to appear behind where they were sitting, it was hidden and camouflaged by the lights and shadows, he opened the door and smiled, waving his hand for her to follow. Once in the next room, a table was set up, candles lit on high candle sticks, and low, setting the lights perfectly within the room. On the table sat a tall bottle of white white inside of a black metal bucket filled with snow. On each plate sat grilled salmon, asparagus, and a slice of lemon each. He pulled out her seat and motioned for her to sit with a small smile on his face, hoping that everything was perfectly prepared to her liking. He sat down and smiled, "Quinn, I told you i'd do the sappy dinner date, didn't I?" He bit his lip and his eyes glossed over, his pupils dilating as he looked at her, everything about her was so perfect, and when he was with her, he felt like he really was invincible.
