Matteo Diamond | Mod-Soul
Matteo couldn't get over everything that had happened in the past few months. It was almost like the end had truly come for him but somehow he had managed to escape death over and over again. He was bitten by a werecreature at one point as well, forcing the absorber gene within him to disappear, and a new, strange were gene to replace it. He wasn’t exactly sure which were creature he was though because the moon didn’t affect him. He and Celeste had ideas as to why that may be, but he wasn’t sure. He had always thought that the bad parts of his life had passed him, but it was almost like somebody, or something had been watching him and trying to thwart his every move. At one point, he had even found his way in Neverland. He went there with a purpose. He wanted to see if even those stories had been true. Was Peter Pan real? The Lost Boys? Tinkerbell? All of them. He smiled, knowing now that they were, at one time at least. He was sure that eventually, like everything, things would start again and the cycle would begin anew, with a new Peter and a new group of lost boys. While there, he had picked up on a track that he had been following. One of a young boy that was assumed to be killed by the Hunters, but at the same time, Matteo knew that all Promises were stronger than the Hunters, and now that the Hunter's were, for the most part, taken care of, that the boy had a much easier time surviving. This lead was, surprisingly found while in Neverland as well. The last place that Matteo would have thought to look, was the place that gave him the most answers. Ironic.
The boy, no, the man. He was older than Matteo, but for some reason, he always felt so much older than what he was. Even knowing that finding Celeste had aged him by four years, making him now 17, that meant that when and if he ever returned to the Immortals, it would mean that he would be going back a new person. It felt like a life time since he had seem his family. In their time, it had most likely only been a few months, but according to his new self, it had been a few years. He leans back now, sitting on top of the Roman Colosseum and watched the stars. He held out a hand and a small meteorite shot into the sky like a shooting star, eventually breaking into thousands of pieces. Once in the sky, they grew massively and it created the perfect, colorful meteor shower. Turning to Celeste, he couldn't help but smile, it had been more than Stello's feelings for the girl now. In fact, Matteo himself had fallen madly in love with her. He knew, like Rion had known, from the second he laid eyes on his soulmate, that she was just that; his soulmate. As the night dragged on, he closed his eyes and sang softly, "Wendy run away with me, I know I sound crazy, don't you see what you do to me. I wanna be your lost boy, your last chance, a better reality.." He kept going, his eyes closed and a small smile fell over his face, "Somewhere In Neverland..." He sat up quickly, thoughts flying through his head, looking towards Celeste, his eyes widening, "We have to go back to the Immortals. I have to introduce you to everyone. I don't know why I have to go back, but I just have too. Something is pulling me there and I'm not exactly sure it's a good thing. I just... I feel a tether pulling me back."
He stood up and held his hand out to help Celeste up and smiled, taking her hand gently and kissing it. With his free hand, he waved an 'S' into the air and a portal appeared before them. He smiled, and nodded, "Ladies first." As Celeste walked through the portal, he tilted his head, watching her every step, she was the Epitome of perfection and would never have asked for a better person to call his own. Smile, he caught up to her and grabbed her hand from behind once more and then followed her out of the portal and onto Promised Island. It wasn't the Immortal's Island, but it was just as good. More of his loved ones would be here opposed to on the other island most likely. Plus, this was where he felt he needed to be. This was where something was calling to him from. He looked around, taking in the surroundings, it seemed almost unscathed as to when he left and he smiled shyly as he turned to look at Celeste once more, "This is Promised Island, a safe haven for every and all supernaturals. We can be ourselves here unlike out in the real world. We don't have to hide who we are or what we are here, and that's why it's one of my favorite places." He narrowed his eyes as something new caught his eye, it was a cave that he never remembered. He took Celeste's hand and led the way, to where he wasn't sure, but he knew this cave wasn't here when he left. He walked to the mouth of the cave and looked in, it went straight out about fifty feet, and then dropped a few hundred feet from what he had seen. It was strange, but at the bottom of the fall, a red tint was glowing. He clenched his jaw and his eyes faded from their bright blue to black. Whatever was calling to him, wasn't a friendly neighbor.
