Before he could interject, Matteo was alone. He was in a massive house that was just that, massive. The house was strange, he had never seen it, but somehow, it had massive windows that took up the entire side of the island. He assumed that some type of magic was at play, but it could have just been some type of technology. He stood by the windows and looked out at the waves. The sky was dark and he could sense the evil intent surrounding the Immortals. He should be out there fighting. He should be helping his family. He sighed, knowing he couldn't go against Rion. There was a reason that he wasn't letting Matteo fight in this war. This one had more at risk, he assumed. He turned back towards the inside of the house and took a quick look around. The place was completely loaded with anything he could wish for. The kitchen was a chef's kitchen, stocked with every type of food he could have imagined, the living room was massive. Big, puffy soft couches and then a spiraling staircase going both up and down. He looked down it and then made his way down. Upon coming to the bottom and finding a light to turn on, his eyes widened, "Woah..." Massive bean bag chairs, lazy boy recliners, popcorn machines, candy of all different kinds stored in glass cases, it was a giant home theater. His smile grew and he ran over to the glass container taking a mental inventory of all of the candy and then he reached into the case and pulled out a box of warheads, popping a sour apple one in and his mouth instantly puckered. He smiled, the sour was just that, but it was enjoyable none the less. Maybe staying out of this war wasn't going to be such a bad thing if he got to stay here. He just hoped that he wouldn't have to stay in here by himself much longer. Loneliness was something that had always lingered around him when he was younger and now that he had a family, he didn't want to feel like that anymore.
He left the opened box of warheads on the top of the glass case and made his way back up the black metal spiral staircase, passing through the main floor and then to the top floor. This place looked like it was built for kids. Maybe it had been? Matteo wasn't sure. He smiled though as he came into a wild west themed room, the bunk beds different in style though, the top one was completely western, but the bottom bunk stuck out from the rest of the room.It was like it was it was built for a wolf. It was more forest like, secluded and shaded the way a pine tree's branches fell around the trunk. This wasn't a room for him... he moved to the next one. Walking into it was incredibly calming. It was like a city loft, a big bed in the center, black sheets, black comforter, and behind the bed was a wall entirely made into a bookshelf. Taking a step into the room, the hardwood was cool on his feet and he looked around and noticed a large desk with an opened book. He looked over the book and flipped through it. At the very back of the book a name was written in it in black pen, 'Dante.' Who was Dante? Matteo shrugged and made his way out of this room. This wasn't a fit for him either.
The third room was laced in purple see through, glittered up, sheer material. In the back of the room in front of a large window was a pumpkin carriage just like the one talked about in cinderella, but instead of looking like the pumpkin, it looked like the carriage. It was all white and purple and truly was beautiful. Throughout the room a small tea table was set up with all different stuffed animals surrounding the table. All of these rooms had looked like they were just inhabited and then the people simply disappeared. He frowned, walking out of the room obviously set up for a little girl. The hallway was laced with close to twenty bedrooms all set up differently for kids but he finally found one that fit him perfectly. He walked into the room and his eyes lit up as he eyed the ceiling. It was like looking at the stars. It moved like a galaxy and the bed below it had a completely white comforter and galaxy based pillow shams. The room was simple, yet extravagant. It had all of the little space details that only one who had been to space would have been able to put this together. This was his room. He loved it. The only other room that he had thought held a match to this, was the one across the hall from this one. He walked across and noticed the seemingly plain room and climbed onto the bed and looked into the massive fish tank that was used as a massive headboard for the bed. All of the different colors of fish swam freely and Matteo couldn't help but smile. He liked this place..Hopefully this could be his home.
