Clarissa was angry now, and stomped from the meeting room, lifting the skirts of her wedding dress so as not to trip over them. Ian had gone with Rion to find that girl, at a Hunter base nonetheless, and had returned bringing a fight. Another female Hunter, it looked like, to turn to their side. She was surprised the kid, Matteo, was so angry. Surely he understood how the adults functioned. Protect their own, but protect yourself. He had a lot to learn, or he was going to get killed by making the wrong move. Ian could have been killed, by going to that base.. She'd almost lost him at the last base they went to, and she wouldn't have been able to handle it.
Claire didn't head straight to her assigned location yet, the docks, and went to the room she'd had while she was living on the island as a Hunter. She stripped out of the wedding dress she wore, discarding the garment on the floor. She then headed to the dresser, sliding on a black long-sleeved shirt and flexible black pants. Generic clothing that could take a hit, and wouldn't show blood if something got passed her adapting abilities. Taking a long look in the mirror, Claire quickly wiped the dirt from the previous days' adventure from her face.
The sound of music reverberating throughout the island surprised her, and Claire shook her head. Though, the tune reminded her of a song she'd always liked.. Put on your war paint.. She hummed, smiling to herself. Her war paint was her own natural ability, and she was ready to wear it proudly. She was an Immortal, and a supernatural; no matter how long she'd spent pretending to be a Hunter. Taking in a long breath, she held it for a moment before releasing it, allowing her breath to fog up the mirror as she turned, heading back out and into the fray.
Arriving at the docks took almost no time at all, and Clarissa Meridian Earl was ready for the fight of her life. She stood with her arms crossed at the end of the dock, watching as the boats made their way closer and closer to their group and the island. It was almost time..
