Oddly enough, Callum had remained in his state of Zen. He kept his emotions away and was completely at one with not only himself, but the world around him. Once he brought his Caleb to the Fox Hole, Caleb seemed to cool off a bit. He quickly slammed through the small cottage that they had called home once they were in this realm, and he found his way into the living room. It was small, but cozy. It had a few bonsai trees and a small coffee table with two cushions on either side of it. Nothing else was in the room. When the twins came here, they came to escape the realities of the real world and to meditate in order to achieve their state of Zen. It was exactly what Caleb had needed after everything that had happened the last few days. He sat down on one of the cushions indian style and closed his eyes, his hands in his lap and the fox spirit grew all around him, matching his movement, or, lack thereof. Once Caleb had truly began to lose himself, he opened his eyes and they began to glow with the foxes. The fox began to spew out words in Japanese, in which, unless Callum had released his own fox spirit, he would never understand. He shrugged, it was something that both of them had done when they had not been able to meditate for a while.
While his brother was attempting to find peace within himself, Callum went over to the small galley kitchen and put on a kettle of water and started picking tea leaves off of the small camellia plant in the corner of the counter. He dropped a few leaves into the kettle and turned the stove on, letting it heat up to a whistle. The nice thing about being here, the twins didn't need to keep their defences up. They wouldn't be attacked here. Only other Kitsune would be able to enter this place. Once the tea was finished, he poured himself and his brother a cup of tea and set Caleb's cup in front of him for when he was finished. He set his own cup down across from Caleb's and then made his way out the back door. He grabbed the bamboo staff from the side of the patio and spuun it a few times then beat the ground three times with it. Immediately small fox came running out towards him. All different colors joined around him and he smiled, petting each of them. He waved for them to come into the house and they all made their way in, maybe 15 different fox, waiting for Callum to join them. Once he finally did, they marched into third and final room within the house. Once in there, Callum rested his hand on a small stone on the wall and let a quick burst of electricity flow through it and it released the wall, allowing it to spin open.
Once he made his way through the wall, he was in a different place, it was a place covered in bamboo on either side of him, and he walked through it, leading the way for the fox. Once he came to a clearing, he sat down and released his Fox Spirit, allowing it to move his body with its own will. This was the only place that Callum felt capable of this, allowing a complete takeover from the Trickster Spirit, or so the race of the Kitsune were called. The 15 fox that had followed him all bowed to the spirit and then ran off, only to come back. They came back differently though, larger in size now. They looked almost like wolves, but, they were in fact fox. Each set of eyes glowed now, and they spoke in unison, "The Fox Spirit that lives within, you know that only one other thunder type Kitsune still remains to this day, it is your duty to survive." and like that, the fox bowed once more and then disappeared into their own fox holes. Callum shook his head and looked around, "The Council..." he sighed. The pressure was on him to survive, but, it wasn't something that Callum believed was a good thing. He fought against the Nogitsune that was his mother daily. She placed a seed in each of the twins, once that seed grew, they would each have a tenth tail. The Sacred Tail of the Nogitsune. It hadn't been thought to be possible, but somehow, their mother had achieved this. The only way to stop it, was to take a tail from a Celestial Kitsune not of blood relations. Callum shook his head and started back to his brother, "Father, you have to hurry....You have to find the tribe of Celestials."
Caleb came out of his trance a few moments after Callum had returned. He nodded at his brother and picked up the cup of tea without a word. The silence was nice after meditating. He took a sip of the now lukewarm tea and he tilted his head, watching his obviously troubled brother, "The council came to you again, didn't they?" He sighed and shook his head. "At the rate we're going, Father has roughly one more Human year before we get all nine tails. After that, he has as long as we can fight the tenth..." He looked down and shook his head, "He'll figure something out. He won't let us turn."
