Everything had happened so quickly that all Lucee could do was fall into a daze. When Melanee had grabbed her neck, Lucee didn't turn away or resist her grip, she simply sat there in shock. For the first time in her seventeen years, Lucee had made the wrong decision, she trusted the wrong person and it had almost cost her life. While the others ran around frantically figuring out what to do with the girl, Lucee remained silent with her eyes wide staring where the girl once sat inches away from taking her life. Ape turned the music off, and Lucee was slightly thankful for the quiet, despite the turmoil going on in her head.
Lucee felt the guilt and the anger washing over her. Was it her fault that Melanee had become what she had? Her baby sister... that she had left on the streets to fend for herself. How could she have done such a cruel thing... Lucee bit her lip, unsure what to think. The girl had tried to kill her when Lucee had shown her nothing but kindness and still, Melanee tried to kill her. Releasing her lower lip from her teeth, it began to quiver. How could she have turned so easily on her family... Reast and Rion... they must be disappointed. Taking Quinn's hand Lucee walked towards the torture chamber, although she had never found her way to it, she remembered a time when she had been lost in the basement of the Immortals with Addy. Letting go of Quinn's hand Lucee ran her fingers along the cold damp walls trying to remember happy times in her home, thankful that she had another day to create more.
Hesitating before she entered the room Lucee looked back at Quinn then nodded and entered the room with her head held down. She could hear Melanee's cries for help, although Lucee didn't really care much to help her at this moment. In fact it only made Lucee despise her even more. A sick little girl that used their connection to betray Lucee. Looking up at the people in the room, Lucee did her best to block out the walls filled with various tools that Lucee didn't care to understand their use. When her eyes found Reast, Lucee couldn't hold it back anymore she ran straight to Reast, "I hate her, kill her. She deserves to die."
