Melanee wiped her tears and looked up at Lucee, she was so kind and selfless, it seemed like a front. Reminding herself that Lucee was a fake, a burden to her life, and a monster that needed to be exterminated. Her fingers twitched with impatience, the girl was so close to her now, staring at her pale dainty neck between Lucee's golden hair. She contemplated how easily she could reach for the shard of glass that sat by her fingertips and slit the girls throat right here and now and be done with it. But that wouldn't be enough, Melanee wanted to rip this stupid girl's life apart. She would get close to her, make her feel like life was whole and then, only then would she strike.
Too focused on Lucee's vein that bulged out on her bare neck, Melanee hardly even realized the new woman followed by the other two adults. She looked up at the three nervously, "I'm so sorry, I was looking for someone and was told they would be here when... well..." Melanee gestured towards the debris around her. "Lucee, that's such a beautiful name. I'm Melanee, I can't thank you enough for saving my life. Perhaps we can be friends.. "

Lucee worked diligently pulling bricks away from the girl until finally she was freed. Putting her hand out Lucee smiled at the girl, "Melanee, I knew a Melanee when I was little.... my sister actually." Lucee bit her lip and lowered her head, letting her hair fall past her cheeks to hide her frown. "I would love to be your friend! We need to get you better first though." Lucee giggled and looked back to Reast and smiled. Confused with Rion's questioning, Lucee shook her head not sure what to say. Why would anyone want to cause harm to them? Especially a fellow supernatural.
"Is there anyway we can help her.... I probably shouldn't use my powers right?" Lucee felt silly asking Re this question, but her concern for Melanee outweighed her concern for being slightly embarrassed. It was exciting having two potential new friends on the island, especially ones so close in age. As much as Lucee craved Reast's attention, sometimes it was nice to have people her own age. Once they could get Melanee fixed up, things would certainly be better with Promise and they could finally go home. Lucee sat back in the rubble and just smiled up at her growing family.

Keeping her body facing the young buried girl, Quinn allowed her eyes to shift ever so slightly to loo at all the different faces arriving. She was shocked by the appearance actually, they weren't smile lie the children but much rather taller in frame... Their protectors possibly? Narrow her eyes slightly Quinn dug her hand into her pocket. Once pulling her hand out, she kept it closed tightly to keep the contents within her palm. Quinn's eyes remained focused on the target. The tainted child seemed to have the innocent young blond convinced...She made it seem as though he truly was a victim, while he conscious screamed something else out. Watching as they helped the young girl out, Quinn waited for everyone to seem occupied before she opened her palm. Looking down at the blue powder for several seconds, Quinn then leaned forward and pressed her lips out. Blowing gently on the dust, Quinn watched as the dust covered the air. The dust followed the snake-like girl, just hesitating in the air till the girl would inhale it. She was the target, she was who would suffer.
Usually Quinn didn't mind eliminating the guilty in front of everyone else, but this occasion was different. There were children...Of course Quinn could kill the girl if she had to...But killing a child in front of other children was almost an equal crime to those whom Quinn hunted. The mist would have to do...After all, slowly it would begin to send the girl into a insanity craze...Making her hear...see...feel..thing that were not actually there. Swiping her hands together, Quinn made sure her hands were free of the sandy-like texture before allowing herself to look around once more at the individuals that surrounded the sly child. She didn't know anyone, making her basically a 5th wheel, and uncertain what to say...But she felt her work wasn't here to just yet...Not even close.
Hearing different, much fainter voices of guilt, Quinn turned slightly to look at the two older super naturals who had made their presence known. Both whispers were similar, yet different at the same time..The crime they had committed against humanity were similar, yet reasoning's why were different...And to top it off, both of their whispers of guilt were muted...Which confused Quinn. They were guilty...but guilty enough to be punished? This wasn't a common ordeal...Unless...Parts of them were dormant or had died...Looking away from the woman and man quickly, Quinn brought her attention back to the small framed children... Earth was a much more complicated assignment then Quinn would have ever thought.

Matteo hurried back over to Rion, something about the girl that he and Lucee had just unburied didn't seem right. Something about her felt...different. She didn't feel pure. He had heard the scream just as everyone else, and that was not a scream of terror, it was something else. He stood sort of behind Rion, but also to the side of him so that he could see everyone still. "I...I don't think she's a good person..." He whispered so that only Reast and Rion could hear. He didn't want to upset Lucee, and he didn't know if he could trust the other woman either. He looked at the red headed woman and smiled though, she felt different. Not bad, but not good either. He didn't know what she was, just that he trusted her. He hoped that she would stay around. She made him feel safe. She gave off the same type of protective force as Re and Rion and he liked that.
He leaned into Rion, tired still from his earlier mix up. He wanted to sleep, he wanted to be able to take a nice long nap and be able to wake up refreshed. That's all that he wanted. He would soon, he knew, he would get to sleep soon. Very soon. "Rion, can we go yet? I'm sleepy."

Narrowing her eyes slightly, Reast watched as the children un-buried the banshee. She kept her lips pressed carefully together as she eyed the girl. She had direct focus on this girl and this girl alone. It seemed everyone but Lucee had negative vibes from her...But were those vibes enough to go off. Reaching her arms up, Reast grabbed the edge zipper portion of her jacket with both hands, giving it a slight tug. She had to remain level headed now, she had to keep a composure to show she could keep control. Relaxing her facial expression slightly, Reast looked carefully towards Lucee. Her facial expression was neither approving or disapproving. Running ehr tongue slightly over her bottom lip just barely, Reast took a few second before finally speaking to Lucee. "You will not waste your abilities on her." Her words were direct, without any sugar coating. There was almost a sense of tension in her voice as she spoke to Lucee in more of a demanding form. Turning to Rion, Reast tipped her head slightly. A gesture to be certain they were on the same page with the situation, at least of Lucee not healing the banshee.
Tilting her head slightly downward, Re gave a careful look towards Matteo, who was obviously still exhausted by the unfolding events of the day. Her facials were still unchanged, as she looked focused on what the Immortals next step would be...But she knew what they had to do. "We will return home now." Reast looked carefully back at Rion. The slight breeze made her hair barely brush against her own cheeks. Returning her glance to the banshee girl, Reast eye pierced the girl like daggers, making sure it was clear she was a threat to the child if she slipped up, all without saying a word. While keeping her eyes locked on the Banshee, Reast spoke once more to Lucee. "She can rest some at the Immortals. As for her injuries. They will heal." Releasing her jacket, Reast raised a palm. Once opening her once closed fist to an open palm, shadows seemed to crawl from all around them to one central location making a shadow-like hole in the ground. It would lead back their home, The immortals.
Reast knew allowing this Banshee come with them was dangerous...But it was about keeping your friends close, and your enemies closer...This Banshee had some interest in Lucee...and if they didn't have an eye on her..she could come back at any time. Looking over at the new red headed woman, Reast watched her for several seconds before finally looking back at Rion. "You can figure that one out." Turning her direction towards the dark hole in the ground, Reast began walking towards it, pausing only for a second to look over her shoulder. "Lucee, Come."

Rion looked down at Matteo and rubbed his head softly, he knew the kid was tired and he knew that he was running low on energy from his little trick he had pulled earlier. He noticed Reast giving him a look, he knew what she had meant, he knew that she was making sure he was okay with what she had said and done. He nodded with a small smirk on his face then eyes the redhead. She was cute, but something about her was off. He had never seen anything like her, she was a new species to him. Once he noticed that everyone was going to the shadow hole that Reast had set up and he was sure that they were no longer listening, he had confronted her, "I saw you blowing that blue mist..dust...whatever it was. I smelled it and I looked back." He shrugged, he didn't care it wasn't affecting any of his people, but he would still question her about it. He had to, it was kind of his job to keep everyone safe.
He ran his tongue around the inside of his mouth, thinking, then sucked his bottom lip and and watched her with his eyebrows raised a bit, "You can come back with us. There's something about you that interests me. And no, not just your looks." He smirked and put Matteo on his shoulders and jumped into the hole that Reast had made. Time to get Matteo to sleep.

Lucee looked back towards Reast and frowned. She was slightly shocked at Reast's words, they weren't intended to be harsh but nevertheless they stung. Why was Reast so short with her all of a sudden, Lucee began to wonder if she had done something wrong, was there something everyone else could sense about Melanee that Lucee couldn't herself? Glancing back at Melanee Lucee couldn't figure out why everyone seemed to dislike her so much. Regardless of her intentions, there was good in everyone, even if her intentions were indeed bad, she still had to have good in her somewhere. Lucee would bring it out of her, smiling to herself, Lucee took the girl's friendship as a challenge, even though she was certain she had seen her face at some time before this. Trying not to let the familiarity of Melanee's face get to her too much more, Lucee stood up and put her hand out for the girl to take her back to the island, she certainly wouldn't be leaving this girl alone to suffer on her own. "Don't worry Melanee, this won't hurt a bit. You'll love the Immortal's island, there's all kinds of stuff for us to do there."
Taking the girl's arm and draping it over her shoulder Lucee helped stabilize her just enough so they could walk towards the growing shadow in the ground. The shadow portal didn't frighten Lucee as much this time, she knew she needed to be strong for Melanee so without thinking twice she leaped into the shadows. Once they made it to Immortals Island, Lucee would be sure to find Melanee a place to rest before getting supplies to fix up her leg.

Melanee let out a short cough before waving her hand in front of her face. Some kind of dust had blown in her face, not thinking too much into the strange dust Melanee wiped her nose and shook her head. She stared at the woman who went by Reast, Melanee remembered her all too well. She was the one with Lucee the night Lucee left, and she clearly was attached to her sister as she seemed very protective. Melanee was never aware of the extent of Lucee's powers, learning that the girl could heal people was news to her, and it almost shocked her that her sister would be so willing to help a stranger... The hunters had never showed her this side of Lucee. They simply showed her Lucee breaking into their facility and kidnapping patients. Melanee was told that the people in the facility were deathly sick, and they were going to save them, make them better with life altering surgeries. Why was it that Lucee and her friends couldn't appreciate what they were being offered...
However that's when she saw the sandman that Lucee had stolen, but he looked much different, more whole and alive than when she had seen him at the facility. Bitting her lip, Melanee grew unsure, maybe these people weren't as bad as she was told, but that would be nonsense wouldn't it? Just as she went to open her mouth, she heard a strange voice in her head, whispering at a level only Melanee could hear. It told her she was a failure, and a burden to society, she would never have a family, and she would certainly never convince the Immortals to fit in. The voice was coarse but soft, and deafening yet quiet all in the same, but just as soon as it had begun talking to her the voice had left just as quickly. Dazed and uncertain, Melanee looked up at Lucee with a blank stare not having heard a word she had said, before taking her hand and following Lucee blindly into the shadow.

Almost un-phased by every ones conversation, Quinn remained focused on the Banshee until finally everyone seemed to exiting through a black hole the woman who went by the name of Reast made. Directing her eyes in the attention of the man, Quinn directed her attention now to him. The young boy seemed fond of him, probably saw him as a safety net, and Quinn could see why. The man was strong, but his guilt's confused Quinn.. He had blood on his hands, but there was no guilt about it...And any guilt the man smelt of was either justified or dead... How could guilt be dead? Unlike the child, who smelt of toxin fumes with her guilt, this man, Rion, did not. It was a gentle scent. A scent that actually intrigued Quinn in more ways then she could explain. At first, Quinn just watched him as spoke, taking in every detail on how his facial expressions and body read. She then watched as Rion picked up the boy and headed towards the black hole. Allowing a gentle grin cross her lips, Quinn followed after them speaking confidently."Already planned on it." She was interested by all these odd individuals, but even more so, Quinn wouldn't let that Snake Banshee out of her site...She certainly wanted to be around as the dust began working. There was a sense of adventure by doing this...a chance to see something beyond the four panels in a forbidden box... It was something she craved...Adventure. Walking right into the Black hole, Quinn allowed her first adventure to finally begin...
